Strengthens civil society capacity, enhances local governance, promotes transparency, accountability, and fosters active citizen participation across all districts of Karamoja.

Key Activities: Policy advocacy, community scorecards, capacity building for CSOs, public dialogues.

Supported by KOICA and UNDP, BRICK promotes sustainable livelihoods and peacebuilding in conflict-prone areas.

Focuses on climate-smart agriculture, vocational training, peace committees, and economic alternatives to cattle raiding.

Key Results: Over 5,000 farmers trained, 300+ youth skilled, 40+ peace structures strengthened.

Empowers youth, women, and marginalized groups to monitor public services, engage in budget processes, and demand accountability from leaders.

Trains and supports women as mediators in land and resource-based conflicts, promoting gender-responsive peace structures.

Impact: Over 200 women mediators active across Karamoja.

Landmark partnership with Mercy Corps that empowered over 8,000 adolescent girls in Karamoja.
